MRA Board Members,
I would like to inform you all of my decision to resign as President of MRA due to a twin pregnancy. Due to this, I do not feel that I will be able to give the organization the time and attention it deserves from its President.
Therefore, effective immediately Ashley Herman, Vice President, will assume the role of President of MRA. The next board meeting on March 3rd will still take place at the State Services for the Blind office in St. Paul. The GA meeting will begin at 9:30am, Membership at 10am, Program Committee at 11am and the Board meeting at 12:30pm. I have enjoyed the short time that I have been able to act as President and plan to stay active with MRA as long as I am able to.
Thank you,
Jennifer Beilke
Ashley Herman acting President:
Thanks Jennifer for all your work so far this year and congratulations on your pregnancy with twins. I am looking forward to following in the footsteps of so many great past presidents. We have an amazing conference planned for you this year. A big thanks to Doris Illies and Annette Sobek and the conference committee for all your hard work. I’m hoping to see everyone April 27-29 at our Spring conference at Grand Casino.
Thank you,
Ashley Herman
