Re: The Honorable Lynnae Ruttledge Leaving RSA
Date: Thursday, January 5, 2012
It is with great admiration and sadness that we announce the Commissioner of the Rehabilitation Services Administration, The Honorable Lynnae Ruttledge, will be resigning her post effective January 13, 2012.
There is no greater love than love of family which is the reason the Commissioner has decided to return home to her beloved Washington State.
Commissioner Ruttledge has been and will always be an active advocate on behalf of children and adults with disabilities no matter where she resides.
Commissioner Ruttledge, always the champion of children and adults with disabilities here in Washington and in her home State of Washington, will be greatly missed but we know will always remain an advocate and a friend to our community.
Bravo, Commissioner Ruttledge, for your courage, your conviction and your commitment to those who will miss you the most.
Immediately below this message is the announcement that was issued by the Assistant Secretary of the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) in the U.S. Department of Education on the Commissioner's resignation.
