What:         Minnesota Rehabilitation Association Day at the Capitol

Why:          Every year the Minnesota Rehabilitation Association’s Governmental Affairs Committee hosts a day at the Capitol to increase awareness of important legislative issues around employment for individuals with disabilities. If you are brand new to the arena or a seasoned veteran we would love to see you at this event! The Minnesota Rehabilitation Association is a non-profit organization representative of people all over Minnesota working for both public and private agencies.  We all work together to enhance employment and advocacy opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

 

We hope you can join us and meet our members and a chance to let your constituents know the important issues to you!

                   8:30 to 9:00          Registration and Coffee, Juice with Pastries
                                               (RSVP required)

 

9:00 to 11:30        Networking with Members and Minnesota Legislators, tips on meeting with Legislators and
discussion on issues important to MRA and the field of Rehabilitation

 

                    11:30 to ???         Set up individual meetings with your Legislator
