The Disability Linkage Line (DLL) is a free, statewide information and referral resource that provides Minnesotans with disabilities and chronic illnesses a single access point for all disability-related questions.  It is a service provided by the Southeastern Minnesota Center for Independent Living (SEMCIL) and the Metropolitan Center for Independent Living (MCIL) and funded by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

The Disability Linkage Line makes it easy for callers to explore available options and choose the services that are right for them.  Callers are often looking for information on housing, employment, financial assistance, or simply have questions about programs such as Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Medical Assistance (MA), or Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.   DLL resource specialists explore all possible options and provide callers with the information they need.  At the caller’s request, Disability Linkage Line staff will follow up to insure the information and referrals provided were sufficient.

Trained resource specialists answers calls to the DLL Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Other ways to access information and resources:  TTY/TDD users who want to call the DLL may call the Minnesota Relay at 711 or 800-627-3529.  Online, 24 hours a day, at www.MinnesotaHelp.info
